Connect your folders with Chi

On first launch, choose Connect all scan folders. Chi opens each supported folder so you can approve access in macOS. You can pause, skip a folder, or replay setup from My setup. Missing access is shown before scanning.

Scan, review, then clean

Daily Wash reads connected cache and log locations. Scanning moves nothing. Review the result and approve cleanup separately. Eligible files move to Finder’s Trash. Large personal files are always manually selected. Save work and close affected creative apps before cleanup.

Where did my free space go?

Files in Trash still occupy storage. Cache sizes, available space and cleanup totals are different measurements. macOS may reclaim space when needed; Studio Rinse does not erase backups or force-purge memory.

Your view, your choice

The signature cosmic look is the default. Replay Chi’s guide to try optional Frosted Glass and choose your creative apps. macOS accessibility settings can reduce transparency.
